Hey there! I’m Seok-Jun, a human brain imager with a passion for unraveling the mysteries of large-scale brain networks and the dynamic principles that govern them. My work originally focused on investigating the brain connectopathies in the developmental disorders such as epilepsy and autism, but now my lab is expanding its reach into normal development, whole-brain dynamic simulations, and neuroscience-inspired AI. I’m especially interested in figuring out how to link biologically detailed (mainly neuroimaging-informed) network models with task-optimized RNNs to better understand how human brain functions emerge along the cortical hierarchy.
Fun Fact: My kids like to compare me to Pooh (not because of my belly but I am cute!@#!@).
